About a week ago, my partner and I set out on a 9 hour road trip to the Midwest U.S. to view what might very well be my next home (please enjoy the little collage above, which I made from the few random pics I snapped).

After 3 days, a 60mph wind snow storm, freezing rain, and snow squalls, we’ve safely returned back to our little corner of Western Mass here and are hoping to close on the deal soon.

This trip also happened to be my first time away from my 18 year old kitty babes in over 4 years, and my sister bravely volunteered to take on the task of hanging with and administering medicine to them, as well as (quite literally) wiping their butts and doing laundry when my Mimi babe scoot scooted on the couch cover and blankets.

Um also… she even washed and changed the sheets on my bed and vacuumed and cleaned everything up so I could just crash when I got home. 🎉10/10 would recommend my sister for your next senior cat sitting gig.

Today, while out viewing some sheds (again, more info on why the eff I’m looking at sheds HERE), a text came through from my sister:

“Can you send me a picture of what you use to wash your clothes? I liked how clean your clothes smelled when they came out and I think what we are using is not doing the trick!”

So here I am providing you (and my sister because she’s also on this email list) with “the trick”:
