Ok, so this email is admittedly a slightly different flavor than my typical earthshattering aha moments and inquisitive questions, and is largely in response to folks asking me for “that link to that thing you mentioned the other day…”

So here’s your one-stop shop for many of my current favorite healthy home and body products (yes, this email is for everyone, not just those of us healing from CIRS)

Know that I only recommend specific products because I have tried them and loved them over time. There are actually a whole host of products that I’ve tried and don’t love, so of course I’m not gonna try to sell them to you.

The eskiin filtered showerhead and replacement filters might just be my favorite… and it was super easy to install (took approximately 7 minutes and was kind of a fun bonding experience for my partner and me).

eskiin has created this 15-stage filtration system to block out 98.7% of the ick that makes its way into our water (y’all, I’m gonna spare ya the gory details of what goes into our water systems but a quick google search will give ya an idea about your local water).

Here’s how the filtration system works:
🚿 calcium sulfite
eliminates chlorine and chloramines from your shower water and leaves your skin feeling moisturized (for real, though).

🚿kdf-55
reduces hard water and eliminates lead, nickel, mercury, chromium, and other metals that dissolve in water. The KDF filter also prevents the growth of bacteria, fungi, algae, and scale. (folks healing from CIRS, this is HUGE)

🚿pp-cotton
absorbs dirt, dust, impurities and other harmful substances; leaving your skin smoother, your hair softer (this has been a game changer for me).

🚿When water impurities like chlorine, oxygen, and fluorine go through the coconut activated carbon part of the filter with pressure, they react with the carbon and get absorbed.

I was quite literally giggling and laughing in the shower after we first installed it, going on to my partner about how it felt like I was at a spa or like standing out in a gentle rain shower or something, and I still kind of get excited to take a shower now!

Finding Superstratum was life-changing for me.

Truth be told, this is the only product I still purchase from MicroBalance, after learning about SuperStratum.

I am mostly just waiting for SuperStratum to come out with a similar laundry additive so I can make the switch!

But until then I will tell you that the Ec3 Laundry additive has worked wonders on my clothing, leaving them feeling noticeably softer and with less musty smells (my partner works the land most of the day and this additive GETS THE JOB DONE!)
