Not sure if it’s a younger sibling (and younger than most of the cousins) thing, a chronically healing queer existing outside of many aspects of dominant culture thing, a Gemini sun/Pisces moon combo thing, something else entirely, or if it just IS.

I’m pretty sure it’s all of the above, and then some πŸ˜‰

When I went through the marketing portion of coaching cert school, I was encouraged to β€œniche down” or something like that. 

In true rebel-Dirt fashion, I tuned out a lot of what they were asking me to do because it didn’t feel aligned with how I want to authentically (read this as β€œhonestly, and with integrity”) show up in the world. 

I don’t want to bait you with false promises of outcomes that you and I both know you might never achieve. How effed is that?

I also don't want to shove myself into a pre-existing β€˜niche” and attract people that I don’t actually want to work with and who don’t want to work with me. That doesn’t set either of us up for success.

That’s why I created a coaching framework based on who I already am, what I already do, and how I have shown up in the world for years. 

There are so many models for play-based learning and even play-based coaching for kids, but none (that I could find in my limited search on the interwebs) that are geared towards adults (and their inner kiddos, too, of course). 

And so… P.L.A.Y. coaching with Surrendirt was born.
