Melanie reached out to me after she saw a dating post I made that featured the Mold Illness, Surviving and Thriving Manual, in which I went on to gush about my current partner and shared a bit about my dating journeys while healing from CIRS.
She told me this was an episode she'd been wanting to air for quite some time and was super excited to chat with me about dating with CIRS... and so we did!!!

Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) is a multi-symptom, progressive illness that impacts multiple systems in the body and is often caused by a mutation of the HLA-DR/DQ gene plus exposure to biotoxins.
Approximately 25% of the population has a genetic predisposition to CIRS.
80% of CIRS cases are caused by exposure to water-damaged buildings (CIRS-WDB).
